Items we can’t accept for donation:
National Geographics magazines, encyclopedias, musty mildewed books, broken toys, BBQ’s, VHS tapes or audio cassettes, major appliances, older microwaves, any appliance or electronics not in working order, console stereos, black & white or analog TVs, fluorescent light bulbs, venetian blinds, vertical blinds, mattresses & box springs (unless wrapped and brand new), building materials, auto or truck tires, infant car seats or bicycle helmets that have been in a crash, baby items that do not meet current safety standards, artificial Christmas trees & stands, stained, damaged or soiled clothing and shoes, computers or computer parts more than 5 years old, stained tupperware or plastice containers, plastic water bottles containing BPA, T-shirts from sporting events or gyms..

Now is the time to:
Please check the list for items we cannot sell.
We have to pay to have unsold items removed
– the city will take it away from you for free.
Volunteer – for an hour or a day. High school students get volunteer credit for hours worked. We provide babysitting for volunteers on both Friday and Saturday. Please check the lists in the auditorium to see where you can be most helpful or speak to Elisabeth Evans, or department head.
Pick up flyers in March to deliver to your friends and neighbours and to post in your area.
Bake! Pie plates will be available at coffee hour but other baked goods are just as welcome.
Take a lawn sign to put up SUNDAY, April 23.
Save bags, especially large ones and sort according to size if possible. Bring them to the kitchen on Friday, April 28.
Get dirty! Dig up perennials and pot houseplant cuttings. Extra pots available at the church office door.
