Treats ‘n’ Treasures

Our 8th Annual craft sale and bazaar was a huge success! Our thanks go out to all those who volunteered their time and donations!  Well done Christ Church!

Keep the heat on!

The heat exchanger in the furnace that heats our sanctuary is shot! To repair it, is almost half the cost of a new furnace.  And this furnace (we have three) is already past its projected life-expectancy. So, a decision has been made to replace the furnace.  This is roughly a $20,000 expenditure. An unexpected expenditure! So we are accepting donations toward our new furnace.  You can donate this year or early next year, if that helps your tax planning. Furnace donations!  $50 — $100 — $250 — $1,000 — $5,000.We welcome your generosity! Special envelopes are in your bulletin or in the narthex.

Christian Outreach: Give the Gift of Warmth:

As the cold weather arrives, we are beginning our Christmas initiative for both gently used or new warm winter coats and “Thinsolate” gloves and mittens for our mitten tree and clothesline in the Narthex. If you would like to give a cash donation instead of shopping, please take an envelope from the basket near the tree, and place cash in it and add to the collection plate. Thinsolate mitts/gloves cost $7.00 to $12.00 depending on size.
